"Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith." (Hebrews12:2)

“Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith.” (Hebrews12:2)
[From the darkness to the love of the light, Jesus]

The LORD God will act as our judge when we call Him during facing problems. In the previous letter that I wrote “For the LORD is our judge”, He gave us some firm witnesses on the wall.   When GOD GAVE US A CHANCE TO PAY BACK FOR WHO DID WRONG TO US, we started preparing to sue the driver as fugitive. We would win soon.  In human point of view, we were standing for justice. We concerned for the boy’s soul from imprisonment and to pay back driver for his wrong doing. Our same feelings were happy for the boy soul which was not imprisoned, and then the same moto was come out from our hearts that was “the truth shall come true.”
But our judge is God who sent his only son (Jesus) to save our soul from hell.
God sent us His verdict. That is a scripture, John 19:30. When Jesus was crucified on the cross, he said; “It is finished” and he bowed his head, and gave up his spirit. (John 19:30)
In our case, it was not finished. We only had started preparing to face trial at the court. We cried bitterly in front of God. Why did we give up this fugitive?  This driver was not repent. God knows him well.
From our sight we had to give up the driver, due to God’s verdict. From God’s sight we should forgive him.  The word “Forgive” does not means “give up”. The word “give up” does not mean “lose”.
God revealed us through John 19:30. When Jesus was crucified on the cross, he forgave those who crucified him, and he said: “It is finished.” It is finished means Jesus announced that he had done his work on earth for his father’s (God) will to save our soul from the hell.
God spoke us to follow His son Jesus' steps.
God wants us to forgive the driver because he did not repent at that time.  Court punishment makes man regrets (means to know only what is wrong or right what they did). It does not always make repentance (means   to change attitude and behavior after knowing what is wrong and what is right). We realized that God loves the sinners. God himself will correct him. God corrects not only the sinner but also his children. We sent the driver all messages such as how great is our Judge the LORD God,and gave us firm witnesses and how he loves all man.
In human point of view, we tried to save the boy’s soul from imprisonment. From God’s point of view, the boy’s soul was already saved when he accepted Jesus as his savior. The boy was a very faithful youth in our church.
In human point of view, we are standing for justice. However, in God’s sight we would bind the driver’s life in prison though he did not get repentance. If we did sue, we may also be bound someday in our lives. God wants us free from wrong doing.

On the earth, “The truth ( justice) shall come true.”
In the kingdom of God, “The truth (the word of God, Jesus) shall make us free.”
Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith,

JuJulay.  (4/ 8/2016)
